We are developing 2 storage plants of about 400 MW in total

Our goal
These types of facilities, in the spirit of sustainable development to which all DCH projects aspire, are instrumental in consolidating the energy supply network we are working hard on.
Why a battery storage system
The technology of BESS systems is based on the use of electrochemical batteries, which can store the energy produced by renewable plants. A kind of power bank capable of returning the stored energy, returning it on demand. The most widespread technology on an industrial scale is that of lithium batteries, because of the great advantages it offers in terms of efficiency, modulability and durability: its great reliability, consolidated by its large-scale use, make it the current standard of reference. By their nature, renewable sources-especially the sun and wind-are subject to variability in production, and consequently fail to provide the continuity and stability needed by the electricity grid, especially at times when the share of energy produced from renewables is very high compared to the total: this is why batteries-and storage systems in general-play a key role, bringing energy and services to the grid at times of peak or high variability in production. During periods when the natural resource is relatively scarce, the system releases the stored energy at times of greater abundance.
