Industrial Photovoltaics

DCH has started work on about 90 MW of plants and has another 100 MW under development

Our goal

The project consists of the construction of photovoltaic plants ranging in size from 5 to 10 MW each, located within industrial areas, i.e., close to large, highly energy-intensive agglomerations. The aim is to make available to the latter, the energy produced, lowering transportation costs and enabling a virtuous and sustainable model of clean energy production.

Why photovoltaics

Photovoltaic panels are devices that convert sunlight into electricity. Composed of solar cells containing semiconductor materials, panels capture the sun's photons and convert them into direct current. This clean, renewable energy can be used to power our homes, manufacturing operations, transportation and businesses, reducing our environmental impact. In addition to this benefit there is a financial one, resulting from self-consumption and/or the sale of the energy produced by the system. PV represents one of the most promising renewable technologies useful in pushing us out of decarbonization. Supporting these kinds of initiatives becomes essential to bring us closer to this goal, of an increasingly sustainable future.
